Health Careers Camps are 5 day programs held around the state of Wisconsin. These camps allow the students to experience first hand the challenges, opportunities and rewards of health professions.

 

Students will get hands-on experiences, job shadow, visit simulation labs, tour a college campus, and participate in evening activities during this residential camp experience.

The hands-on activities are facilitated by health profession students, instructors and health care professionals. Diversity awareness and leadership skill training are also a part of the camp experience.

Meals, lodging expenses and other program costs are provided by AHEC funding and sponsoring organizations. Counselors will be on site at all times. A non-refundable confirmation fee is required upon acceptance to a camp. Financial Assistance is available upon request.There are scholarships available.
