DHS Hosts Health Insurance Literacy Training
On Monday, February 5th, the Portage Health Literacy Committee led a health insurance literacy training day on the DSH campus. Students from the Portage High School HOSA, UW-Madison HOSA, Divine Savior Healthcare employees, Wisconsin Area Health Education Center, and Covering Wisconsin devoted the day to get a better understanding of health insurance and working on projects to help communicate health insurance to youth and young adults.
A highlight from the day was hearing the students say learning about health insurance was fun and they are excited to work on this project.
